Destiny Rena Gaither, a 23-year-old Black female, tragically lost her life on November 3, 2020, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was fatally shot multiple times in her chest while on the 1700 block of South Avondale Street. Despite immediate medical attention and efforts to save her life at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Destiny succumbed to her injuries that afternoon.
