On the evening of July 10, 2020, 52-year-old white male Matthew Todd Bowersox of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant located in Monroe Township, Snyder County. Also killed in the incident was 46-year-old white female Heather Campbell of Trevorton, Pennsylvania. The assailant, identified as Christopher T. Fernanders, was Campbell's ex-husband. The shooting occurred around 8 p.m.
