In Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 1, 2006, the life of 46-year-old Cassandra Lynn "Cass" Bryan, a compassionate and dedicated nurse at the VA Hospital, was tragically cut short. Her death, initially a shocking loss to her community and loved ones, soon unfolded into a harrowing tale of domestic violence. Bryan was found deceased in her home, having been shot multiple times.
