On the evening of July 20, 2020, a triple shooting shattered the night on the 5000 block of Chester Avenue in Philadelphia. Responding to the call at approximately 9:45 p.m., police officers discovered 21-year-old Semaj Carter inside a black Mercedes, suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. He was a Black male who resided in Philadelphia.
