In the late hours of a Monday night in East Germantown, Philadelphia, a sequence of events unfolded that would end in the tragic death of a young man. Twenty-three-year-old Jabrail Wyatt was inside a Dodge Ram on the 5500 block of Bloyd Street when he was struck by gunfire. The bullets found their mark, hitting him in the head and chest.
Responding officers from the city's 18th district arrived at the scene around 10:30 p.m. and quickly transported Wyatt to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
