On a Tuesday evening, June 1, 2021, the life of 22-year-old Dashean Lee, a Black male from Philadelphia, was tragically cut short. At approximately 9:52 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were called to the 1200 block of East Chelten Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Lee lying wounded in the street.

Emergency responders quickly transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Dashean Lee succumbed to his injuries ...
