Gregory Battle, a 21-year-old Black male, was tragically murdered on April 18, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA. He was watching a Philadelphia 76ers playoff game at a friend's house in Germantown when he was shot multiple times outside the front door. Gregory had just returned with takeout food when the shooter fired at least 10 rounds at close range. Despite being rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, Gregory succumbed to his injuries that evening.
