Latoya Wright, a 37-year-old Black female from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost her life on October 6, 2021. She was fatally shot in the 1700 block of North 28th Street around 10:56 a.m. Despite the immediate response from Philadelphia Police officers and efforts by medical staff at Temple University Hospital, Latoya succumbed to her injuries later that afternoon.
