William E. "Bill" Tripp, a 71-year-old man from Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, tragically passed away on November 27, 2021, due to a hunting accident in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. Tripp was hunting with family and friends around 10 a.m. on Buckhorn Road in Jackson Township when a minor, related to Tripp, shot at a deer and missed. The bullet traveled approximately 300 yards and struck Tripp in the head, resulting in a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
