On February 8, 2022, Jerelle Jeffries, a 30-year-old man from Pittsburgh, PA, was tragically shot and killed in the East Hills neighborhood. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at a home on the 2200 block of Wilner Drive. When police arrived at the scene, they found Jeffries shot on the first floor of the house, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
