Stephan Bates, a 56-year-old man from Norristown, Pennsylvania, was found dead on June 7, 2022, after being fatally shot the previous night. Bates' body was discovered on a sidewalk in the 500 block of Noble Street, lying under shaded trees. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office ruled his death a homicide, as he succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
