Igmidio Mista, a 33-year-old man, opened fire inside the bar, killing Daniel Ramirez, Ramiro Sanchez , and Jose "Andy" Chavez , an off-duty Elmore police officer. A fourth person, Ramiro Arreola , was also injured but survived.
Mista was arrested and charged with three counts of murder. He later took a plea deal and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 44 years.
