Shaniece Wells, a 23-year-old woman from Youngstown, OH, tragically lost her life on October 25, 2014. She was shot during an altercation at a home on East Boston Avenue. Shaniece was not involved in the fight but had gone to the scene to help break it up. Unfortunately, she was the only one shot and later succumbed to her injuries at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

The investigation led to the arrest of Keith Sims, a 27-year-old man from Youngstown. Sims was charged with murder and ...
