Jermonte Fletcher, a 33-year-old African American male, died on January 27, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio. He was the reported leader of the Short North Posse, a drug-trafficking ring. Fletcher was killed during a gun battle with law enforcement officers who were attempting to arrest him.
