Death by Force

Charles Mahon, a 61-year-old man from Columbus, OH, was tragically shot and killed on July 20, 2015. Mahon was standing in the doorway of his home when he was shot in the head. The incident stemmed from a dispute over $80 between Alexa Curtis' brother and another man. Curtis, who lived two doors away from Mahon, called her boyfriend, Jalen Hall, to "take care" of her neighbors. Hall arrived at the scene with a handgun and fired shots into Mahon's residence, striking him in the head.
