Thomas Hirko, a 54-year-old white male from Perry, Ohio, died on February 4, 2016, after being shot by a sheriff's deputy. The incident occurred after Hirko's wife, Lorrie Osborne-Hirko, called 911 reporting that she had been stabbed multiple times by her husband.
