Clement Laird Vallandigham, a 50-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, died on June 17, 1871, in Lebanon, Ohio. Vallandigham was a prominent lawyer and politician, known for his leadership of the Copperhead faction of anti-war Democrats during the American Civil War.
