Kawme Dejuan Patrick, a 25-year-old African American male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically passed away on June 30, 2016. His death was the result of an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the south side of Columbus. Officers Cassie Scott and Linda Gutierrez, both eight-year veterans of the Columbus Police Division, were involved in the incident.
