Antoine R. Bradley Jr., a 19-year-old Black male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on August 25, 2016. He was fatally shot at around 9:45 p.m. at 1878 Maryland Avenue. When patrol officers arrived at the scene, they found Antoine suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Grant Medical Center, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at 11:11 p.m.
The incident was reported as a homicide, and the Columbus Police Department launched an
investigation. However, as of now, the case remains unsolved. The Homicide Cold Case Unit continues to review the case in hopes of bringing justice to Antoine's family. The community has been urged to come forward with any information that might help solve the case.
Antoine's father, Antoine Bradley Sr., has publicly expressed his grief and disbelief over his son's death. He described Antoine as a good kid who didn't deserve what happened to him. The family and friends have been seeking closure and justice ever since the tragic event.
Despite the ongoing efforts, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with Antoine's murder. The case remains open, and the authorities continue to appeal to the public for any leads or information that might help solve this heartbreaking crime.
