Derek Blake Ponder, a 26-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on April 28, 2021. He was fatally shot during an argument at the home of David A. Johnson III, who was later charged with his murder. The incident occurred at Johnson's mother's residence on South Harris Avenue, where Johnson's mother also sustained injuries.
