On November 17, 2017, Anthony Sparkes, a 28-year-old male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life. The incident occurred during an argument at a residence in Columbus, which escalated into a violent confrontation. According to police reports, two men, Calvin Carmichael and James Willis III , were involved in the altercation and both were fatally shot. Anthony Sparkes was critically wounded and later pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
