Yahya Mohamed, a 24-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on January 4, 2024, in what became the city's first homicide of the year. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Belcher Drive, where police responded to a report of an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, officers found Mohamed shot and unresponsive.
