Authorities today released the identity of a man shot to death over the weekend.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Travis Bill Hayes. Hayes, 33, of Hoover, is Birmingham's 57th homicide this year.
Birmingham police officers were called to the 6600 block of Avenue N around 7:45 p.m. Saturday on a call of shots fired. Several minutes later, three gunshot victims arrived at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
