La'Peetra Dawson, a 37-year-old woman from Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost her life on November 14, 2018. She was fatally shot while sitting on a couch inside her home on Millicent Avenue. The incident occurred when a vehicle drove past her home and fired several shots, one of which penetrated the wall and struck Dawson, leading to her death.

Following the incident, an 18-year-old Dayton man named Jayland Redd was indicted on murder and other firearm-related charges in connection with Dawso ...
