Teresa Furlow was found deceased on April 28, 1989, in Dayton, Ohio, on Great Miami Boulevard at around 4:00 a.m. The circumstances of her death indicate she may have been killed elsewhere and her body subsequently dumped at that location. At the time of her death, Teresa was known to be involved in prostitution. Given the lack of concrete leads or witnesses, her case has remained unsolved for decades, and law enforcement is still seeking public assistance for any information that could help solve her murder.

The Dayton Police Department is handling the case, with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) also providing assistance by making the details publicly available in the hope of generating new leads. The BCI's involvement aims to bring visibility to Teresa's case and increase the likelihood of receiving information that might bring justice and closure. This is part of a broader effort to highlight unsolved homicides across Ohio, with the intention that making these cases more visible can lead to breakthroughs through community tips or the identification of connections between cases.

Anyone with information about the homicide is encouraged to contact Miami Valley Crime Stoppers. The hope is that even the smallest detail may help investigators move forward in identifying those responsible for her death and finally bringing them to justice. Teresa Furlow's case remains one of the numerous cold cases in Ohio that law enforcement continues to pursue in the hope that the mystery can eventually be resolved.
