Dewand L. Moore, a 45-year-old African American man from Dayton, OH, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2019, in Springfield, OH. The incident occurred at a home on Bassett Drive, where Moore was shot multiple times by Ulonda Evette Degahson, a 38-year-old Springfield woman. The altercation began as a physical fight that escalated when Degahson retrieved a gun and shot Moore. Moore succumbed to his injuries at Springfield Regional Medical Center.
