Cathy Evans, a 65-year-old woman from Springfield, Ohio, tragically passed away on April 5, 2016. She and her husband, Daniel Evans, were found deceased in their home on Mistyhill Drive, both having suffered gunshot wounds. Investigators determined the incident to be a murder-suicide. Cathy had been battling Alzheimer's disease and dementia for several years, which had placed a significant emotional and physical strain on her husband, Daniel.
