On July 13, 2006, 27-year-old Shakura Walker was discovered severely injured in Davey Moore Park in Springfield, Ohio. She had been found lying near the baseball diamonds, brutally beaten about the head and showing signs of having been choked. Shakura was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but she never regained consciousness and ultimately succumbed to her injuries on May 18, 2007. The Springfield Police Department took charge of the investigation, but her case has remained unsolved ...
