Michael Deion Nixson, a 29-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, OH, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2020, following injuries sustained from a gunshot wound on May 1, 2020. The incident occurred in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, where Nixson was shot once by Shalaby Keys, 38, after a dice game. Police responded to the scene and transported Nixson to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries five days later.
