Death by Force

Laronnie Franklin, a 36-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2020, in Toledo, Ohio. Franklin was discovered in an alley behind a building on the 3300 block of Monroe Street around 10:15 a.m. Detectives determined that he had been shot at least once. The Toledo Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into his death.
