Tonya Marie Delafeld, a 42-year-old woman from Powell, Ohio, tragically passed away on July 21, 2020. She was born on June 17, 1978, in Coshocton, Ohio, and was the owner and operator of ATC Hair Studio in Powell. Tonya was known for her dedication to her family, friends, and her dream of owning a hair salon. She is survived by her two children, Trenton and Tori, as well as her parents, siblings, and granddaughter.

On the night of her death, Tonya was shot outside her home on the 1700 block of Plains Boulevard in Powell. She was found in her front yard with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by Columbus Fire medics. The suspect, 59-year-old Kevin D. Arnold, a friend of Tonya's family, was arrested and charged with her murder. Arnold was accused of being aggressively fixated on Tonya prior to her death.

However, the legal proceedings took a turn when Kevin Arnold died on January 9, 2022, while on house arrest. As a result, the murder charges against him were dismissed. The dismissal of charges left the case unresolved, and Tonya's family continues to seek justice for her untimely death.
