Pebbles McCroskey, a 40-year-old woman from Canton, OH, tragically died on May 23, 2015, from a gunshot wound to the head. Her husband, Jessie O. McCroskey, 37, walked into the Canton police headquarters early that morning and confessed to shooting her. He claimed that he did so because she was suffering from late-stage lymphoma, but her family disputed this, stating that her cancer had been in remission for over three years.
