On January 21, 2024, Christine Fite, a 61-year-old resident of Canton, Ohio, was found deceased in her home. The Stark County Sheriff's Office responded to a call from a concerned relative around 5:30 PM and discovered her body in the upstairs bedroom of their residence on 31st Street NE. It was determined that she had died from gunshot wounds, and the coroner's office estimated that the incident occurred earlier that morning.
