Isaiah Heard, a 25-year-old man from Canton, OH, tragically died on July 27, 2020. Isaiah Heard was fatally shot multiple times by Lamont Buchanan, a 21-year-old man from Akron, OH. Buchanan shot Heard from behind as he was running away, with one of the gunshots striking Heard's heart, causing his death. Buchanan had broken into a home where Heard's ex-girlfriend was staying, and after an altercation, he pursued Heard outside and shot him.
