Hussein Galat Dahir, a 20-year-old male of Somali descent, tragically died on November 15, 2020, in Columbus, OH. He was fatally shot during a party at the Days Inn near the Ohio State Fairgrounds. The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. when an altercation broke out, and Hussein tackled Said Maki Said, 19, after seeing a gun in Said's pocket. Said then shot Hussein and his brother, Abdisaid Dahir, 24, who survived the attack.
