He was discovered inside a blue Ford Fusion at the intersection of Wellington Blvd. The incident occurred around 10:24 a.m., and despite immediate medical attention, Fair was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:33 a.m.
The Columbus Police Department launched an investigation into Fair's death, which was determined to be a homicide.
Witnesses at the scene provided descriptions of a possible suspect vehicle—a full-size black pickup truck with fancy wheels and tinted windows—driven by a younger Black male with short wavy hair, dark complexion, and a skinny build. However, as of now, no arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved.
The investigation continues, with law enforcement agencies urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring justice to Fair's family.
