Charles Jones Jr., a 28-year-old African American man from Columbus, OH, was tragically found dead on August 1, 2021, along Cleveland Avenue near Schrock Road. He was discovered near a crashed vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to his face. Surveillance video indicated that his death occurred during an apparent robbery.

Following the incident, Columbus police arrested Marvin Metzler, 36, on September 24, 2021. Additionally, warrants were issued for Brandon Berry ...
