Shawndell T. Bryant, a 19-year-old African American male from Columbus, OH, tragically died on March 29, 2014. Bryant was shot in the early morning hours in a parking lot on the South Side of Columbus. According to police reports, Bryant and another man attacked a 58-year-old man who claimed he acted in self-defense.
