On November 17, 2008, Michael P. Gravely Jr., aged 36, was shot and killed outside his home in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place at approximately 9:00 PM at his residence on Parkwood Avenue. Gravely answered a knock at his front door and subsequently stepped out onto his porch. While standing on the porch, he was shot by an unidentified assailant. Following the attack, he was transported to Grant Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
