On December 28, 2020, 17-year-old Donnell Freeman, a Black male, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in the parking lot of an Exxon Station located in the 2000 block of East Livingston Avenue. When Columbus police arrived at the scene, they found Freeman and another victim, 20-year-old Finesse Robinson, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Grant Medical Center, where they were later pronounced dead.
