Steven Rogers, a 28-year-old African American man from Canton, Ohio, tragically died on February 3, 2021. Rogers was found shot to death outside an apartment in Plain Township early in the morning. He had suffered multiple gunshots. The Stark County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Rogers' death was the first homicide of the year. Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made in connection with his death.
