Michael Lee McCray, a 46-year-old man from Canton, Ohio, tragically passed away on September 14, 2022. He was found shot to death in the basement of his home in the 2800 block of Ellis Avenue NE. McCray's wife discovered him and immediately called 911, reporting that an intruder had shot her husband before fleeing the scene. The suspect, Ryan C. Harmer, a 22-year-old who had been a friend of McCray's and had previously lived in their home, was arrested later that day. Harmer was charged with mur ...
