Alton Burton, a 23-year-old male, tragically lost his life due to gun violence on June 25, 2017, in Canton, Ohio. Burton was fatally shot outside a house in the 1700 block of Edwards Avenue NE. His death was part of a larger issue of unsolved homicides in the area, with at least seven out of seventeen homicides from the previous year remaining unresolved.
