Black male Lamont Alexander, age 23, was killed on December 4, 2015, on the 4100 block of West 21st Street in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood after a street confrontation in the late afternoon.
According to authorities, a dispute unfolded shortly before 4 p.m., and witnesses described a struggle that began in the street.
Alexander, a 23-year-old man who lived on the same block, was pronounced dead at 4:24 p.m. at the scene.
