On March 28, 2021, 14-year-old Royce Chatman was tragically shot and killed in the 1800 block of Brussels Street in west Toledo, Ohio. Royce, a freshman at Start High School, was found with a gunshot wound in the driveway of his home and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lucas County Coroner's Office confirmed his identity. Royce was about to turn 15 on April 5, 2021.
