Alex Beasley, a 25-year-old male from Akron, Ohio, tragically died on September 19, 2021, following a shooting near the University of Akron campus. Beasley was one of three people shot during a large gathering at Kling and Wheeler streets around 1:30 a.m. The incident occurred after an altercation, during which an unknown shooter fired indiscriminately into the crowd.
