Ernest Anderson Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 11, 2017, in Akron, Ohio. Ernest was a senior at East Community Learning Center, where he was enrolled in the hospitality program. He was found in a front yard with multiple gunshot wounds, and a handgun was discovered near his body. The autopsy revealed that Ernest suffered gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
