Christian Kilburg, a 25-year-old male from Willoughby, OH, tragically died on April 14, 2022, from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at their shared apartment in the Willogrove Apartments on Grove Avenue. Kilburg's roommate, Kevin McCarthy, a former Cleveland firefighter, was involved in the shooting. McCarthy called the police shortly after the incident, claiming that he accidentally discharged the firearm while playing around with it.
