Dennis Le Roy Avery, a 49-year-old man from Willoughby, Ohio, tragically lost his life on April 17, 1989. His death was part of a horrifying incident involving the murder of his entire family by a religious cult led by Jeffrey Lundgren. Avery, his wife Cheryl, and their three daughters—15-year-old Trina, 13-year-old Rebecca, and 7-year-old Karen—were all killed in a barn on their farm in Kirtland, Ohio.
