On November 16, 2023, Thomas Galizia, an 81-year-old resident of Mentor, Ohio, was tragically killed during a shooting incident at the Mentor Greens Mobile Estates. The shooting unfolded around 4:30 PM when Jason Norris, a 47-year-old man facing eviction from the mobile home park, opened fire. Norris had been involved in a prior altercation with Laura Colon, the property manager, who was also shot and killed during the incident.
